Satomi Hakkenden Hamaji Hime no Ki

In a time of war, Inuzuka Shino serves as a warrior of the Satomi clan—a life defined by duty and by a loss she has been slowly learning to move past: the death of her childhood friend Hamaji. Then Hamaji reappears, apparently alive, and arrives as the engaged partner of the clan's fifth princess. Before Shino can process what this means, the sacred sword Murasamemaru and a holy bead are stolen in the night, and Hamaji and the princess vanish with them. Shino sets out with the Hakkenshi to recover what was taken—and to understand what is following her.
