The protagonist arrives in Gensokyo with no memory of who he is or how he got there. What he does carry is a powerful, driving compulsion: to record things. Everything he encounters — the people, the places, the anomalies — he wants to document. His journey through Gensokyo unfolds through that lens, each encounter and upheaval captured in the record he builds as he tries to understand the world he has landed in.
