About This Game

A prosperous realm once known as Akalabeth fell into darkness when Mondain, a sorcerer driven by jealousy and hunger for power, unleashed his malevolent magic upon the land. He carved sprawling dungeons from the earth, populated them with infernal creatures, and spread plague and suffering throughout the kingdom, transforming the golden age into an era of bloodshed and despair. A righteous warrior named British rose to challenge the Dark Lord, descending into the labyrinthine depths to confront Mondain and expel him from the world. Though victorious, British found Akalabeth scarred and broken, and now, as the newly crowned Lord British and guardian of the realm, he faces the monumental task of rebuilding civilization from the ashes of catastrophe.
