About This Game

Heroes Chronicles is a series of spinoff campaigns built on the Heroes of Might and Magic III engine, each following the immortal hero Tarnum across different eras and factions on the world of Antagarich. Eight chapters were released in total. Warlords of the Wasteland introduces Tarnum as a young Barbarian leading an uprising against the oppressive Wizard-Kings of Bracaduun. Conquest of the Underworld sends him undercover as an Erathian Knight to battle Demons, Necromancers, and Warlocks. Masters of the Elements forces him to become the very thing he despises — a Wizard — to help Bracada's mages stop the Elemental Lords from destroying the world. Clash of the Dragons has Tarnum take up a Ranger's bow to defend the Elves and Dwarves of AvLee against Mutare, the murderous Queen of Nighon, and her dragon legions. The World Tree and its sequel The Fiery Moon, both originally free downloads for series purchasers, continue Tarnum's fight as a Barbarian against the demigod Vorr before pursuing him to a Kreegan-populated moon. Revolt of the Beastmasters brings Tarnum to the Mudlands of Tatalia as a Beastmaster, working to undo the oppression he himself caused there centuries ago. The Sword of Frost closes the series with Tarnum becoming a Dungeon Overlord of Nighon to stop the Elven Hero Gelu from ever finding the Sword of Frost.
