About This Game

Heroes Chronicles: The Fiery Moon continues directly from The World Tree. Tarnum's search for the corrupted Ancestor Vorr carries him northeast across a barren desert and into an unnamed mountain range. There he crosses paths with Skizzik, a wounded familiar who has barely escaped Vorr's armies, and learns that the three Ancestors are imprisoned on the Fiery Moon — a realm reachable only through the Sparkling Bridge, an ancient portal capable of crossing to any world in the universe, operated using the Ring of the Wayfarer. Tarnum travels through the portal and confronts Xyron the Jailer, freeing two of the three sane Ancestors. They hand him sap harvested from the World Tree, a substance with the power to cure Vorr's madness rather than destroy him. But Tarnum's first assault on Vorr's forces fails, and Grumba — his loyal ogre second-in-command — is killed in the battle. Skizzik survives. Tarnum rebuilds and attacks again, this time intent on killing Vorr. The freed Ancestors intervene, warning that Vorr's death would condemn all three of them to Oblivion as well. Persuaded, Tarnum reaches Vorr and administers the World Tree sap, lifting the madness. For the first time in centuries, Tarnum believes he may be capable of genuine change.
