Togainu no Chi: True Blood

After the Third Division devastated Japan and split it in two, the crime organization Vischio seized Toshima — formerly Tokyo — and established a battle game called Igura. Participants receive five dog tags engraved like playing cards, wagered in fights that end when one party dies or submits. The winner takes the loser's tags. Collecting a Royal Flush earns the right to challenge Il Re, the king of Igura. Akira, falsely accused of a crime, is offered freedom in exchange for entering Igura and defeating Il Re. The story follows him through the lawless streets of Toshima as he fights to survive and uncover what is actually happening in the city around him.
