Amelia was left as an infant at the doors of a country church and raised by the priest who found her. At seventeen, her quiet life ends when armed gangsters arrive at the church intending to kill her. She and Joshua — the boy she grew up with — barely escape. The man who shelters them gives Amelia a pendant. When she picks it up it begins to glow, and three men materialize in front of them: Vicious, Nicole, and Leo.
