Danzai no Maria: The Exorcism of Maria La Campanella

Japan no longer believes in God — but the evil that belief was meant to contain has not disappeared. It still moves quietly through the society, working through certain people behind the scenes. Maria is an official exorcist, sent to Japan from somewhere else. She arrives with a curse already placed on her: she will die if she fails to break it by the first of November, which requires her to save humans and destroy the devils she encounters. She hunts them one by one, against a deadline she cannot ignore.
