Shiromitsukawa is an academic city without any particularly notable characteristics. Past attempts to attract tourism went nowhere. Then, for an unexpected reason, the city began to draw attention. Among the young people caught up in it is Niimi Kakeru — a student known for being hasty but deeply responsible, with a straightforward personality that everyone likes. After a sacred treasure belonging to a local temple was damaged, unusual powers awakened in Kakeru and a small group of his peers. An ordinary town. An ordinary student.
