In a third-year high school class, something impossible is moving through an ordinary town, and everyone sees it differently—some curious, some afraid, one simply reaching for more sake. The protagonist, who has always let things happen rather than deciding them, stands at the end of all their competing theories knowing that when the moment comes, they will have to throw something away and keep something else. The choice belongs entirely to them.
