Celestial Ascent

In Algolin City, a young boy named Miles develops powers that no one has ever wielded before him. Searching for answers, he tracks down Ashe Oakes — a reluctant mentor who knows more than he lets on. Meanwhile, a girl named Amita Caruoso is being hunted by elementals with nowhere to run. With help from her friend Robin Brooks, she finds a way to push them back — but not without cost. These two separate stories are heading toward the same point of origin, and the answers waiting there will change both of them.
