Lilac

Lilac Academy is a joint magic school where humans and mages come together in peace and harmony. Emil, a child of a sick mother in a rural village, receives an admission letter and resolves to enroll — not because they like mages (they hate mages, after being mistreated by one), but because graduating means a generous monetary reward for the family. On the way, Emil meets Henri and the two hit it off — until Emil realizes Henri is a mage. The spell Henri casts to guide the way fails, and Emil is sent flying to an unfamiliar place. Thus begins Emil's turbulent academy life.
