Across Limveld, a warped and nightmarish incarnation of a once-recognizable world, an inexorable darkness known as the Night consumes everything in its path. Desperate warriors called Nightfarers gather at a mysterious stronghold named the Roundtable Hold, where they receive their grim calling from an enigmatic Priestess: to hunt and vanquish the formidable Nightlords who command this encroaching shadow. The Wylder, a greatsword-wielding Nightfarer who narrowly escaped a terrifying encounter with the Fell Omen, awakens in this sanctuary to discover a fellowship of hardened companions awaiting their march into a hostile realm.
