About This Game

Set in Depression-era Los Angeles during February 1938, this detective noir follows a police chief investigating a murder that spirals from a society woman's death into extortion and violence. When a wealthy man seeks protection but is killed before the night's end, the investigation becomes a frantic race against time—the detective has just twelve hours to identify and apprehend the culprit before the case goes cold or they become the next victim. Caught in a web of conflicting motives, hidden alibis, and suspects ranging from elegant heirs to mysterious household staff, the chief must rely on sharp observation and deductive reasoning to untangle the conspiracy, as every testimony proves questionable except what they've witnessed firsthand.
