Madou Monogatari: Michikusa Ibun follows the same first-person dungeon-crawler format as most other Madou Monogatari games. It resembles Madou Monogatari 3 the most in terms of gameplay, with Arle accompanied by Carbuncle for the duration of the game. This game serves as a direct prequel to Puyo Puyo (1992), building off of the backstory presented in its manual. It was published as part of Disc Station 98 Vol. 3.

About This Game

On a fine day, Arle and her companion Carbuncle are relaxing on the grass, enjoying the weather. Arle decides the conditions are just right for some dungeon exploration. The two set off for a nearby ruin and begin delving in.
