In the Old West town of Midas Valley, the rat infestation has become intolerable, and the town has hired a piper — played by Jason David Frank — to handle it. The job starts simple. Then the rats find a map to a secret gold treasure buried somewhere in the valley, and the whole enterprise changes. Both the piper and the rats are now racing toward the same prize, and the original extermination contract becomes secondary to the hunt. The story unfolds in four TV-style episodes with minigames at narrative turning points, following this western reimagining of the Pied Piper of Hamelin to its conclusion.
