With its enchanted storybook look beautifully translated into 3D, lush, vibrant colors, funny enemy designs, and clever jumping puzzles, Rayman 2 is platforming perfection. No arms, no legs, no problem for the little French creation that could.

About This Game

Rayman 2 unfolds in the Glade of Dreams, a world invaded by an army of Robot Pirates led by Admiral Razorbeard, who destroy the Heart of the World — the planet's core. The blow shatters the resistance and strips Rayman of his powers, leading to his capture aboard the Pirates' prison ship. There he is reunited with his friend Globox, who slips him a silver lum from Ly the fairy that restores his abilities, allowing Rayman to escape. To stand any chance against the Pirates, Rayman must gather four ancient magic masks — hidden in elemental sanctuaries of water, earth, fire, and air — to awaken Polokus, the spirit of the world. He travels the Glade through the Hall of Doors, a magical hub controlled by the ancient Teensies, freeing Globox once more, reuniting him with his wife Uglette, and curing his strongman friend Clark of a nasty case of rusty-pirate indigestion along the way. Once Rayman recovers all four masks and awakens Polokus, the spirit swiftly wipes out the Pirates on land — but is powerless in the air, leaving Rayman to bring down the flying prison ship and Razorbeard's headquarters himself. In a final showdown, Rayman defeats Razorbeard's giant robot, the Grolgoth, and the prison ship explodes; the admiral escapes in a pod while Rayman is presumed dead, only one of his shoes recovered — until, at his own funeral, he reappears, hobbling in on a crutch.
