On a sunny afternoon, the limbless hero Rayman is enjoying a peaceful picnic with the young children of his friend Globox when the ground suddenly trembles. The Baby Globoxes are dragged beneath the earth, and in their place burst forth the Rabbids, a horde of manic, screaming bunnies bent on chaos. Their commander seizes Rayman and hurls him into a bizarre arena, where he is forced to compete in the Rabbids' outlandish trials for their amusement. Determined to survive and rescue the kidnapped Baby Globoxes, Rayman reluctantly throws himself into a gauntlet of frantic, absurd challenges, from wild races to zany contests of skill and reflex. Each day he battles through the madness, and each night he is returned to a cramped cell, rewarded with a plunger for his efforts. As the days pass and the deranged Rabbids grow oddly fond of him, Rayman schemes for a way to escape captivity.
