Hiro Miyamoto is confronted with alarming news: Kage Mishima — a long-standing enemy of his family — has stolen the Daikatana, a powerful sword with the ability to warp through time, and intends to use it to rewrite history. Before Hiro can act, Mishima strikes again, kidnapping Hiro's friend Mikiko and launching an assault on the family dojo.
