About This Game

Four young people—Firion, Maria, Guy, and Leon—are ambushed by soldiers of the Palamecian Empire and left for dead. Firion, Maria, and Guy are rescued by Princess Hilda, who runs a rebel base in the town of Altair after the Empire invaded and destroyed her kingdom of Fynn. She refuses their request to join the rebellion—they are too young and untested. They head to Fynn anyway, where the dying Prince Scott of Kashuan, Hilda's fiancé, reveals that a Kashuan noble named Borghen has defected to become a general in the Imperial army. Back at Altair, Hilda gives them their first mission: travel north to Salamand, retrieve the precious metal mythril from the occupied mines, and kill Borghen. They do. The war is just beginning.
