Tomoya was abandoned by his mother when he was very young and taken in by Honjou Arisa after a chance meeting. He grew up alongside four other girls she had adopted for similar reasons — not family by blood, but close enough. Then, one day in town, he sees a woman wrapped in something that looks like iron: an Anima, a metallic augmentation. The sight unlocks a memory. He had one too, once. Something took it. Now a right arm is turning to metal again, strange things are closing in on the people Tomoya considers family, and he has to figure out what he actually is — and what happened — before whatever is coming arrives.
