About This Game

This expansion lets Sims launch their own shops and restaurants, steering them toward roaring success — or crushing failure — through shrewd management and solid customer service. As owners, your Sims handle the hiring and firing, and since some employees are genuinely devoted while others merely clock in for a paycheck, assembling an effective staff becomes a satisfying challenge in itself. As with earlier Sims expansions, Open for Business piles on over 100 new objects, many of which work just as well at home as at work. Cash registers, service counters, awnings, elevators, and a broad range of costumes and uniforms all join the catalog. Builders also gain dedicated retail areas where they can design the shop of their Sims' dreams from the ground up.
