When a Cold War-era submarine sinks off the coast of Lasria, it unleashes the Technocyte—a devastating pathogen that warps flesh and spreads chaos until the nation manages to quarantine it. Decades later, operative Hayden Tenno infiltrates a brutal military compound run by the ruthless Mezner, who has imprisoned those afflicted with the virus, tasked with stopping both the contagion's resurgence and eliminating its captor. The mission crumbles when Hayden is captured and deliberately exposed to the Technocyte, which ravages his body and corrupts his right arm into a grotesque biological tool of destruction.
