Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is an action-adventure hack and slash game, an enhanced version of Ninja Gaiden II with updated visuals, higher resolution, and reworked content. Players control the ninja Ryu Hayabusa through combat that combines melee and ranged weapons against large numbers of enemies and oversized bosses. The version adds an online cooperative mode and three additional playable characters. It was later included in the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, and an Unreal Engine 5 remaster titled Ninja Gaiden 2 Black followed in 2025.

Ryu Hayabusa returns as a master ninja caught in a conflict that draws in allies from across multiple factions, each with their own reasons to fight. Beyond Ryu's main quest, the story expands through separate campaigns featuring Ayane, a skilled kunoichi from the peaceful Mugen Tenshin clan; Momiji, a naginata-wielding member of Ryu's own bloodline; and Rachel, a cursed warrior from the Holy Vigoor Empire who hunts fiends despite bearing their dark power within herself. Together, their intersecting paths reveal different angles of a larger struggle that threatens multiple ninja clans and supernatural forces alike.
