About This Game

You play Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster hunter — a witcher. Drawn into the political storm engulfing Temeria, Geralt helped put down the rebellion of the Order of the Flaming Rose, then saved King Foltest's life when a witcher-like assassin struck at the monarch. Now he stays close as the king's bodyguard while Foltest fights to bring peace to his realm. The Order's last strongholds have fallen to the royal army, but one task remains: Baroness La Valette has declared her lands independent, and her fortress must be stormed. A month on from the assassination attempt, Foltest's armies mass at the gates of La Valette Castle for a final assault — and Geralt is among them, still at the king's side, unable yet to begin his own hunt for the truth behind the mysterious assassin's identity and origins.
