God of War: Origins Collection

God of War: Origins Collection bundles two portable entries in the saga of Kratos. Chains of Olympus — Set midway through Kratos' decade of servitude to the gods, it opens with the Spartan warrior defending Attica from a Persian invasion. After killing the Persian King and claiming his power over the Efreet, Kratos slays a rampaging basilisk—only to watch the sun vanish from the sky, plunging the world into Morpheus's shadowy domain. What begins as a battlefield assignment becomes a desperate journey to recover what the darkness stole. Ghost of Sparta — The Olympian gods Zeus and Ares believed that a Marked Warrior would one day bring ruin to the divine order—and that warrior was Deimos, Kratos' younger brother. During a brutal raid on a Spartan village in their childhood, Ares kidnaps Deimos while he trains alongside Kratos, scarring Kratos across his right eye in the process. Deimos is taken to the Domain of Death, where Thanatos imprisons and tortures him for years. The campaign that follows is Kratos' long-delayed reckoning with that loss.
