Snow Bound Land

Kai brings home a mirror said to grant wishes. Gerda, Kai, and three others—the timid Orva, the energetic apprentice cook Craes, and the wandering swordsman Aje—peer into it together. The mirror shatters and they lose consciousness. When they wake, the shards are gone and they feel fine. By the next morning, something is very wrong with each of their bodies. A curse has been released, and undoing it means embarking on a journey none of them planned.
