Mogura Gakuen—informally known as Z Gakuen—exists for students who carry some kind of shame, drawn together from schools across the country. First-year Yaotome Rei arrives just as the school announces it is closing down: the only way to save it is for the students to fall in love. Rei was born to attract misfortune in concentrated form, and the boys gravitating toward her are all carrying their own kind of incompleteness. If she can find what each one is missing and give what she has, shame becomes something else entirely.
