Tagami is a town of heavy snowfall where the existence of gods is simply a fact of local life. Konno Masaki arrives to live in Tagami and on his very first day is commanded by Shiro, the God of Tagami, to become her husband. The next morning at school, Yuki—daughter of the family that holds the most power in Tagami—confesses to Masaki on sight, and he agrees to that as well. The strange relationship that develops between a god and a human, two girls and one man, runs through peaceful days until Yuki raises a suggestion that changes the terms of everything.
