Island

Urashima is a small island off mainland Japan, seemingly idyllic, but carrying a difficult history: soot blight syndrome has severed it from the mainland, an abandoned offshore research platform stands as a reminder of something unspoken, and five years ago, three separate incidents brought the island's influential Three Families close to ruin. Into this fraught environment washes a young man who claims he has traveled back in time. He immediately sets himself against the island's longstanding traditions while searching for the three girls, each from one of the Three Families, whose fates may determine what happens to the island and the world.
