Koshotengai no Hashihime Noma

Jinbocho, Tokyo. June 1922, during the rainy season of the Taisho Era. Tamamori came to Tokyo to pass the entrance exam for Imperial University, failed, spent two years doing nothing, and was evicted from his boarding house for it. A stroke of luck lands him a live-in position at Umebachidou, a used book store in Jinbocho, where he spends his days pretending to study and taking advantage of old friends from his hometown. Then those friends start dying — one after another, mysteriously — and he realizes he has been living the same three rainy days on repeat. Now he must race through the bookshops and alleys of Jinbocho to save them, haunted at every step by the question: what is real, and what is hallucination?
