Half a year after the events of Robotics;Notes, Kaito Yashio and Akiho Senomiya have graduated, left the Robo Club behind, and begun building separate futures. The story they thought was over isn't. Kou Kimijima—the original game's antagonist—installed his consciousness into a digital backup before his defeat. That backup has now been released. The Human Cultivation Project that Kaito and his friends fought to stop begins moving again through the world's networks, and the question of whether it can be stopped a second time falls back to people who believed they were finished.
