In the world of Silver Blue, the gods once lived alongside humanity. Over time, human ambition replaced devoutness — conquest, war, and the destruction of nature followed. Disappointed, the gods sealed the door between their realm and the human one and cut the connection permanently. Traces of their existence are said to remain, though few have found them. The story begins with Cyan, an orphan who has no memory of anything before the age of ten, when the old man named Gui took him in. Cyan has built his entire sense of self around Gui — his master is the only attachment he has to the world. Then one day, Gui is simply gone. Cyan sets out to find him. What he encounters along the way keeps disrupting his understanding of who he is and where he came from. The strange dreams that have followed him for years are starting to come into focus.
