Killer and Strawberry Plus

Ichigo wakes up in Café Tsukikage — a place that exists in the underworld, where people who deal in illegal business come and go without scrutiny. The owner and the waiter are contract killers. She did not choose to be here; she was brought. The owner, Tsukimi, explains the situation: someone wants Ichigo dead, and someone else has paid to keep her alive. The café is where she stays until the protection contract is fulfilled. Ichigo has no voice — a trauma she carries from something in her past — and no family, no alternative, and limited options. She takes the job of waitress. The questions accumulate: who wants her dead, who is paying to protect her, and what will happen when the contract ends.
