Riley is stranded on a desolate island with a ghost named Josh who has been dead for as long as he can remember. As she explores the crumbling homes of the islanders who used to live here, she learns more about Josh through the choices she makes in conversation with him — choices that are irreversible and that shape the relationship between them as the game progresses. Ghost on the Shore is a narrative exploration game in which Riley gradually pieces together the history of the island and the circumstances that killed Josh.
