You work gas stations and move on. Staying in one place has never suited you. A job listing catches your eye: security guard position, night shift, payment and bonuses that look reasonable. The phone call confirms interest but asks only one thing — are you ready to follow the rules and perform the tasks? You said yes without reading the instructions that arrived by email afterward. The facility is difficult to find, far from anything recognizable, and a wrong turn in bad weather costs you time. Your first day and you are already late. The person who lets you in is not friendly. The instructions you forgot to read are somewhere on your phone. The elevator opens, a man inside is intensely occupied with something, a siren sounds, and you realize this job is going to be considerably stranger than the listing suggested.
