About This Game

Sixty years have passed since Coach Red claimed the Kanto Championship. In the decades since, the world has suffered through economic collapses and humanitarian crises, and the cultural appetite for Pokémon competition has drained away with them. Gyms have closed. Pokémon Leagues have shut down. The image of a trainer walking through the region with their team feels like something from a better era. The Cefira region is the only place still committed to holding that era open — and it happens to be the dominant economic and political power in the current world. In a rural town in Céfira, a young man receives a letter from a childhood friend with an important proposal: something beyond the sea could restore what the Pokémon world has lost. Meanwhile, a strange astral Pokémon has begun appearing in trainers' dreams with a message about the end of everything.
