Aavegotchi: Gotchiverse
Aavegotchi is a DeFi-enabled crypto collectibles game developed by Singapore-based Pixelcraft Studios that allows players to stake non-fungible token (NFT) avatars with interest-generating tokens and interact with the Aavegotchi metaverse, known as The Gotchiverse.
The Gotchiverse is an open-ended social space where players can engage in myriad activities, such as farming, crafting, trading, and combat. Owners of REALM parcels can employ their Aavegotchis (and those of others) to farm their virtual plots, producing quantities of resources known as Gotchus Alchemica. These resources can be combined to create powerful structures such as Haarvesters, Reservoirs, Display Cases, and many more.
Although there are no victory conditions or “end of game” scenarios, one overarching goal of the Gotchiverse is to collect Alchemica to bolster your parcel to produce more yield, and build defensive structures in preparation for the coming of the Prophecy, and the great Lickquidator Invasion.

In the Ether Realm, when a yield farmer gets liquidated, the spirit travels to the Gotchiverse and is reborn as an Aavegotchi — a spectral creature that farms, votes, and exists in community with others like itself. The Gotchiverse grew over time as liquidations multiplied, and Aavegotchis built cities and great structures there. Then the Lickquidators found a backdoor. Originally the creators of the Aavegotchis, they became their destroyers — invading the Gotchiverse to harvest Spirit Force. Only nine survived the attack: the most powerful of the Aavegotchis, known as the Aadepts. These nine used the last of what remained to build the Citaadel and the Great Portal inside it, pouring into the Portal every remnant of Spirit Force they could gather from the slain. The fight to reclaim the Gotchiverse begins from that foundation.
