Lucifer defied God in a moment of overwhelming pride and was cast out of Heaven into hell. Her path then crossed with Maria — an ordinary high school girl — in a collision that reshaped both their fates. Lucifer transferred her last reserves of angel blood into Maria and took her heart in exchange, binding their existences together permanently. Demon and human, inseparable.
