Makai Kingdom: Reclaimed and Rebound follows Lord Zetta, master tactician and, through a sequence of events that requires some explanation, current resident of a book. His goal is to invade and reclaim the Netherworld using the INVITE system — which lets him summon combat units into any battle he chooses. Arm those units with weapons, accessories, and magic, position them using isometric tactical movement and available vehicles, and discover the extensions and special events on each map that can shift the outcome of a fight in unexpected directions.
