The Infernal Return

Koward has been in love with his girlfriend Mangostina for a long time and has been unable to say so. The underworld's administration has taken notice — specifically, the hell messengers Black Wuchang and White Wuchang, who need to fulfill a quota for the King of Hell, Yama. They pull Koward into the underworld on a flimsy pretext and imprison his spirit inside Fengdu Ghost City. To escape and reclaim his life, Koward must gather specific elements and satisfy a set of conditions that the underworld has established. He will navigate the netherworld, form unexpected relationships with its ghostly and monstrous inhabitants, and find creative ways to outwit a god of death who has all of history's experience at running this kind of operation.
