It starts out as a remastered Mario game — familiar enough, with a few upgrades. Then the blocks stop working. The pipes block the path. Everything that was there is gone. A strange, glitchy mushroom appears. Mario eats it. The game crashes. When you wake up in the so-called real world, you are playing as Depressio, a dejected plumber who resembles Mario in outline and nothing else. Multiple paths lead to multiple endings. The mood has shifted considerably from the first few minutes.
