Zombie Groove

A new virus has emerged that reproduces through dopamine in the brain. Once infected, the host starts producing dopamine in volumes the body cannot process — and the result is dancing. Uncontrollable, endless dancing, until the person is no longer a person in any recognizable sense. The protagonist wakes up in a hospital surrounded by dancing zombies, nearly one of them. A device attached to the body suppresses the virus — but only as long as it has energy. That energy comes from the zombies. Hunt them to survive. Stop hunting and join them.
