Alice successfully recovered one of Patchouli's most valuable books from Marisa, the library's most persistent and least welcome borrower. When she arrives to return it, Patchouli refuses to see her. To make things stranger, the great library has been rearranged into a maze packed with formidable opponents. Something is going on with Patchouli. The jealousy hypothesis is on the table. The identity of the person she might be jealous of is less obvious than it sounds.
