Professor Tanehisa Busujima is a middle-aged academic whose tendency to say exactly what he thinks has put his career in serious jeopardy more than once. When his job at the university reaches its most precarious point, the institution's president offers an unlikely lifeline: teach study abroad students from the Succubus Kingdom, a realm located entirely within the Dream World. The Japanese government arranged a trade agreement that brings these students to Japan in exchange for certain practical considerations, and Busujima has been identified as an ideal candidate to contribute. His official role is teaching foreigners about human society. His real assignment, according to program director Lima, is rehabilitating two failed succubi whose enrollment has been a recurring problem. Class is in session.
