Hakkenkast

Hakkenkast is a warrior celebrated for skill with the sword who has decided that a sword alone is no longer enough. He travels to the Elders of Eldritch — a legendary order of magical knights — and is taught his first spell: a Magic Missile he can conjure at will. The Elders explain that a collection of spellbooks holding the order's most powerful lost magic was stolen long ago by the Sorcerers of Hussey and hidden in four dungeons scattered across the Land of Mercya. Hakkenkast is sent to recover them, starting with the Dungeon of the Undead. Each spellbook he retrieves will expand what he is capable of.
