In Japan in 1990, a grade-schooler named Ai is pulled into a world of permanent twilight and forced to play children's games that carry consequences no child's game should have. Shadowy figures and eyeball monsters attack daily. The sun never rises. Eventually the monsters begin bleeding into the real world, and Ai starts to understand something disturbing about herself as well. Survive through strategy rather than combat — Ai cannot fight back. Hold your breath to slip past enemies who cannot see, sprint past those who cannot hear, and use every item you find to find a way out. Memorize the paths. Getting lost in the sunset world means staying there forever.
