Cult predicted it — the world would be destroyed, every trace of life erased. No one believed him. They called him unstable and he went into exile, retreating to the jungle and meditating for years in a cave until the meditation broke and the world outside confirmed what he had always known. Now he embarks on an investigation: what caused this destruction, and who or what is responsible? The creatures he encounters along the way are unlike anything he had ever seen before, even in the visions.
