Codename Nemesis

Sam is a hitman whose defining quality is that he is kind of a goofball. When his boss, a powerful crime lord, is allegedly assassinated, his friend Neil vanishes — possibly guilty, possibly afraid, possibly something else. Now every goon in the city wants both of them dead. Sam sets off into the night to find Neil, navigating a dark city full of scum, and eventually comes face to face with the nemesis he has been heading toward this whole time.
