In 2454, the Sainen — an intergalactic civilization — were forced to abandon their home and scatter across the stars. Two hundred years later, their explorer ships have reactivated and the mission has resumed: reach Planet Solarus and make it the Sainen's new home. But the planet is not empty. The Torek survived a great cataclysm by retreating into underground caves, and they are still there.
